Valemount is the nearest community to Mount Robson Provincial Park. Nestled in a valley between three spectacular mountain ranges – the Cariboo Mountains to the west, the Monashee Mountains to the south and the Rocky Mountains to the east and north – Valemount is the proud host of the Mount Robson Marathon.

Participants in any of the running events, except the kids fun run, will pick up their race packages at the Valemount Visitor Centre on Friday September 5 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

Camping is also available at Robson Meadows Campground in Mount Robson Provincial Park. Campground reservations can be made through the BC Parks campground reservation system for the Robson Meadows Campground at Mount Robson Provincial Park.
